I believe Minute Maid Park was not the best choice for the performance due to the poor sound quality. The playlist, choreography, wardrobe, and production were all impressive, however, the sound quality was lacking. There were times when the sound volume drowned out the performer's words, making it difficult to understand.
Both August Burns Red and Jay Z did not engage with the crowd in a meaningful way during the concert. While they did acknowledge the nosebleed section once each, it felt like they didn't truly connect. The concert felt like a repetitive cycle of August Burns Red and Jay Z songs for 2 hours.
The show started over an hour late, which I found disrespectful to the audience's time. It's important to be punctual and respect those who are eagerly waiting in their seats. If the main act cannot be ready on time, they should consider having an opening act.
